Are The New Macs Shipping With Snow Leopard 64-Bit?

    Will The New Macs Shipping With Snow Leopard be 64-Bit? Are the lower priced Macs and the new line of the MacBook Pros already 64-bit?

    No. It isn't being released until September. But the upgrade only costs $30. :)

    All Macs that are sold today should support 64-bit mode. My iMac does.

    Macs being bought in september will be 64 bit.

    Ehh :confused:

    All iMac's except the some of the very first generation Core Duo based Mac's are capable of operating at 64-bit.
