Are there always problems like this for a new product launch?

O.K, so this is the first time I've joined an apple forum but it seems as if there is doom and gloom about the iPhone 4 on nearly every thread. I was excited about receiving mine in a couple of weeks but now I'm worried I'm going to have yellow lines, green spots, no signal, a no sim message, email problems, cutting people off with my cheek etc! 🙁

Is it always like this for a new apple product release, or more importantly a new iPhone release ?
