Long before the new 24-hour licensing laws it was possible to drink for 24 hours in Edinburgh (you did have to spend a couple of hours sometime around 4am in a resteraunt).

Long before the new 24 hour licensing laws, it was possible to drink for 24 hours in parts of London too... none of that restaurant crap either. :D

You can get beer almost any hour of the day as long as you do your research in advance. Long before the new 24-hour licensing laws it was possible to drink for 24 hours in Edinburgh (you did have to spend a couple of hours sometime around 4am in a resteraunt).

About 7 years ago I used to work in a pub that opened every morning apart from Sunday ay 7am. We used to have happy "hour" 7-11 every morning

Ooh, yes. You've just reminded me. Dario's pizza (whatever that one was with a ton of garlic on it) and a carafe of your finest house red, Mr Dario, sir. :) I must have a Dario's pizza now I'm back.

(nice one, jive!)

Heh! Sounds like fun though. :)
It was...

meeting one bunch of friends at 8 am to watch Tri-Nations Rugby and celebrating the All Blacks win and then moving on slowly with some other friends to watch the Football World Cup in the evening, including the celebration of the German Team.

Difficult to top such a day.

It absolutely tastes like poo if you drink it immediately after a different kind of beer, but if you start with Corona and stick with it, it's not bad.

I'd say the opposite...have enough of something else first and the Corona will taste like nectar. ;)
