As great as iChat, more storage, 3G and all these other things are, is there any logical reason why Apple would keep these things a secret until the day of launch? Why not announce them at WWDC while they had everyone's attention? Or at a different event?
Wouldn't that get even MORE people in line waiting for these? Almost everyone I've talked to does NOT want to get an iPhone until they have more space, cost less, have 3G, etc.
All these bonus features sound nice and all, and I would love 'em -- almost any of them might be enough to get ME to actually buy one now too (currently I'll probably wait for 2nd gen). But it doesn't make sense to me why Apple would keep them secret until the DAY OF. None of these features that people are hoping for are that revolutionary, it's just better specs of what's already been mentioned -- so it's not like Apple would be worried about competitors stealing ideas. So how does it benefit them to keep anything more a secret until launch? 😕 😕
