Does anyone know of something like this, that has DisplayPort instead of HDMI?

Or failing that, an additional USB-C port that can be used to connect to a DisplayPort monitor?

For a moment I was excited, thought you'd found a helpful link 😉

To be clear, I already have several USB-C to DisplayPort cables, but they wouldn't help me with the dock I pictured; though it has two USB-C ports, one is for power-in and the other can only be used for data/peripherals, it doesn't carry video.

What I'm looking for is a dock like the one pictured, that lets me both charge my MacBook and connect my DisplayPort monitor at the same time. Ideally it would simply have a DisplayPort port instead of an HDMI one, but a third, video-capable USB-C port would work just as well.

You are probably going to require an external powered hub to get multiple display outputs.

Sure, that seems to be the case, but I'm only looking for one with a single DisplayPort, I don't need HDMI.

Then why is an HDMI to Display Port adapter not a workable solution with your current hub? You want Display Port, not mini-Display Port (which looks like a Thunderbolt 2), correct?

Whoa, is that even a thing that exists? I know of DisplayPort to HDMI, but not the other way around.

And at the moment I don't have a hub, I'm using a 2015 13" MacBook Pro that has all the ports built in. But I'd like to move to a 2018 MacBook Pro that has only the two Thunderbolt ports, that's why I need to get a dock/hub now.

This one isn't quite as slick, but has a couple USB-A ports, ethernet, DisplayPort, and a power-in USB-C port, and it will leave your Mac's other TB/USB-C port free. I don't know anything about it's reliability, however:

Here's another if you don't need it to be super portable:
Edit: Never mind about the Belkin one; their documentation notes some Mac incompatibilities with certain features.

If it doesn't need to be portable, this will solve all your problems, and then some...
