Hey there,

I'm thinking of getting a new 4K TV to act as both a TV and external monitor.

I know the Apple TV is limited to 1080p.
But are there any other devices that could allow me to share my computer screen to my TV in wireless 4K?

Not looking to do any gaming. Mostly office type work: editing documents, etc ... so I don't really care about the refresh rate

The nvidia shield TV may be able to do it. But cavaets ahead. My PC has an nvidia 980 GTX GPU and my TV is only 1080P. Gamestreaming will allow me to stream my desktop. There are other options to stream your desktop but I don't know if it will support 4K. Not all options may be free.
