Are there dead pixels?

I opened a complete black image with resolution 2880 x 1800 on my new rMBP, and I found two white spot, respectively, on the left bottom corner and right bottom corner. Are they dead pixels? If they are, I gotta returned it tomorrow..
 
If they are white, or coloured, they are stuck pixels. These can be fixed by various online solutions, which a simple google search will reveal.

That being said, you are well within your rights to get a replacement should that be easier.
