I have searched this forum to check the status of SSD upgrades for the newest MBA's and so far I have not heard of any out there for sale yet or anyone who has upgraded their SSD.

Toshiba doesn't mention anything on their web site about the so called "blade" SSD they announced last November. I wonder if they cancelled the project for some reason.

Do any of you have the scoop? My 128 GB SSD is doing fine but I do plan to upgrade to a larger capacity at some point.

I'm going to upgrade my SSD in a year or two when the battery needs replacing. By then there should be some nice upgrade options.

mmm I thought the SSD is soldered on the board. How do you upgrade?

Nope, the RAM is soldered onto the board, not the SSD. The only thing about the SSD is that it doesn't come in its typical case.

    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

The SSD card is a little bigger than the old RAM cards and is held into place with one screw.
