    Common sense says no, they are not real. A woman sold a dress made out of paper clips for thousands of pounds. It was all over the news. Guess what, she didn't see a penny.

    This exactly.

    Plus if you look at the bid history and the sellers you'll see that most of the sellers have 0 or low feedback and the bidders have 0 feedback or are 'not a registered user'. No one paid for these items.

    Though I got it from context, I had to look up "lawled" in the Urban Dictionary.

    I guess I'm old now.
