since that post i've been doing light browsing etc.. and they now look like this, is this normal still?My 13" early 2011 Macbook Pro runs at @ 138 F or 58C doing some light browsing, email etc...
Mind you, I am using the MB Pro in clamshell mode with it running a 24" monitor

Yes, very normal. The CPU and GPU have a thermal limit around 100-105 degrees Celsius, and if you reach that limit, the components throttle themselves so that the hardware can chug along unharmed.since that post i've been doing light browsing etc.. and they now look like this, is this normal still?

The iMac is built that way that the heat is dissipated through the aluminum back - so it's supposed to get warm on the outside. Don't worry![]()
