iPhone Are these the correct jailbreak steps?

This is the first time I've jailbroken for many years, I don't think iCloud was around when I last did it!

Just wondering are these the correct steps:
Restore iPhone from a downloaded ipsw version of the iOS software via iTunes
Restore personal data using iCloud backup
Jailbreak according to instructions


It's the restore iCloud bit I am not so sure about. I've had a look on the net and lots of people seem to restore after jailbreak but using a backup copy via iTunes.

When I jailbreak I basically create a back up to iCloud and itunes.

Then jailbreak following the instructions.

I've not read too much into the current JB tool yet as many tweaks , even the ones listed in the Doc, are not working properly yet.
