Are these the future specs of the new mac pro?

The rumor was that they'd go thinner if the optical goes away, but I think the bloggers fabricate much of this for page hits.

There is thinner and then there is anorexic . Apple could go slightly thinner and not down the to the MBA limits where loose standard 2.5" HDD enclosure heights.

The latest front page rumor is that the MBP stays and new anorexic MacBook reappears.

The loop back to Mac Pro. The rumors to shave the Mac Pro from 5U down to 2U or 3U was wonky. Down to 4U would be tractable if they stretched out the depth and perhaps dumped some internals. The 5U isn't too bad .... it is the too wide for the rack that is the major problem. Apple doesn't have to make it extremely easily rackable, but they also don't need to make it rack hostile.
