iPhone 14 Pro Are trade-in prices revised the day new iphones come out?

Does apple revise down trade-in values for older devices the day a new iphone is shown/preorders start? Or can I just wait until preorders, trade-in my 14 Pro when I order the new one, and trade-in value will be the same?

I've tried searching old threads, but didn't find a specific answer.

In the past launches, pre-ordering a new device usually have seen higher (bumped up) trade in values.

So for instance last year when the 15 preorders started, and 14 pros could be traded in, the 13pro didn't get bumped down, but got a boost to its trade in price?
