uTorrent and Bittorrent are both made by Bittorrent Inc.
uTorrent and Bittorrent are mostly the same program.

BUT
uTorrent is supposed to be a lighter alternative to Bittorrent.

So how on earth can you explain this?

Btw, lighter might not refer only to disk size. It might also depend on how much memory and "processor" it uses...
