Look at you all, shaking and fidgeting. Just can't keep away from the caffeine, can you? :p

Coffee ... uhhh. I'd drink my own p*ss before I'd drink coffee.

I'm no caffeine addict.

How can people resist that wonderful, rich, fragrant smell that only coffee can fill the air with?

I love the line up to the coffee shop in the law school at uni on Monday mornings. The anxiety is quite comical. :D

I can imagine! I have a few friends doing law and they're all addicts. Also when I did work experience a few years ago with a barrister, he would easily go through about 10 cups a day and so would most of the other lawyers

Hell yes, if I've got to pull an all nighter, or if I'm up early enough to make a few cups for the road before I leave. I usually drink the most on weekend mornings, when I'm able to sit and relax.

I'm really trying to switch from Maxwell House.. Any reccommendations? And don't give me "Oh, Seattle's Best! or Starbucks! "

I usually drink three cups before I'm out the door. To cut down on caffine I have recently begun to brew with half decaf.

Bloody hell, yeah! Who isn't, eh?

Now that's quite silly, isn't it? I know a lot of people who don't drink coffee :D

I usually do a half caffenated cup or two myself - especially if I'm working on something that keeps me up late - the next morning is always tough to get going.

I also take a month off from drinking just to clean out the system - and the first cup after not having it for a month is fantastic

No coffee (or tea, or soda) for me unless it's decaffeinated... caffeine gives me nasty headaches.

I started drinking coffe quite late (mid 20´s) a few years down the lane I drink it every day.
I have no problem not drinking it for a few days.
Having worked as a barrista for a while, what really annoys me is how many so called caffe shops serve badly made coffe.
Shame on you:mad:

I've just begun doing this, and I feel much better during the day. Also, no more Dr Pepper at lunch, so the morning coffee is my only caffiene intake.

I like my coffee like I like my women: hot and black! j/k

Yes, but not coffee coffee... more like coffee ice cream. I need my coffee to be mixed in with something else to cut the acidity.

Previous favorite coffee drink: Venti 6-pump raspberry mocha
NEW favorite coffee drink*: Venti 6-pump cinnamon dolce latte (like drinking a cinnamon bun)

* This is going to draw a comment from someone... ;)

*Indeed

cinnamon latte? bleugh.

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little™ (<-- sorry iGary) :p

I never used to drink coffee, never felt the reason to. I however started drinking coffee in the last three months, i onyl have one cup of coffee as soon as i get up. Its very rare that i have more the one and if i did its never more then two.

In my high school i had an art teacher who used to drink about 13 cups of coffee a day. I never saw him without a cup of coffee in his hand, now thats just way to much.

And it's pointless, too. It is all too easy to burn out your body's response to caffeine... drink too much of it and your body will begin to assume that all that caffeine is normal, and it will stop having any effect on you. I should know; I've done it before... there was a time when I could down 4 shots of espresso and go right to sleep. (Now I drink less Mountain Dew, and caffeine actually has a small effect on me.)

If you're drinking that much coffee every day trying to stay awake, just STOP. You're throwing gasoline on a fire.

Absolutely. about 2 cups before noon. Since living in NYC I have become quite accustomed to "street" or "diner" coffee. LOVE IT! I dont really think its a caffiene issue, I just love the taste.

I love coffee so much. I love the way it smells, I love the way it tastes. I love how it keeps me going through the day. I love how it wakes me up and I love how it finishes a meal.

God I love coffee.

Oh, yeah, Rob does that.

Like a 24-ounce coffee?

8 ounces of cream. Not half and half, not milk. Cream. Then about a pound of sugar...

What's the effing point?

When I do have to drink coffee (deadline crunches) I drink Kenya AA black. Good stuff. :D

about once a week i like to go to Starbucks for a white chocolate mocha :D
but in HS monday, wens, fri would go to starbucks before i went to school... (tues and thurs i got a bagel)

Colombian Supreme, Oma or Sello Rojo, or Kenya AA. Black. ¡Hasta la última gota!

I blame it on my daughter. Before her I almost never drank anything caffeinated...
Oddly enough, I'm just the opposite. When my wife got pregnant with our first, we both got off caffeine. That was almost 6 years ago, and since then I've had almost none. Although I do drink decaf coffee on occasion.

I admire your will power. I'll try this some time. My system probably needs a good cleaning.

Love the coffee, but please no flavors or fancy stuff. Just a good bean and a little sugar. Coffee will make you look cool too. :D

I love coffee but as a dessert. I don't drink it as a habit and I rarely drink hot coffee but it's kinda nice just to grind some beans just to enjoy the smell. :)
