You should do what my parents did with me when I was toddler and woke up too early. They'd just put us in a play-pen/jail infront of the TV then go back to sleep :p

1. She'd climb out and probably hurt herself
2. She'd scream loud enough to have CPS called (and I don't want to start a record with them until absolutely necessary...:D)
3. We already use the TV too much... so darn convenient... I'd like to phase it out more but sometimes you just need to turn your kid into a zombie for 5 minutes to remain sane....
 
i used to be a night person, mainly coz i worked at night, etc. But these days, opposite, I like to try to be in bed asleep by 10:30. some nights I crawl into bed at 9. I just love my sleep!

get up around 6 or 6:30... try to be at work by 8am for a 4pm finish :)
 
In bed by 8, and home by 11. Giggity giggity gig-i-ty. :)

Nah, I'm a morning owl. We get up at 5am, and lately with the new kidlet I'm up later or earlier - whenever he's up. For the last 3 months I've been surviving on 4-5 hours of sleep a night. And I'm supposed to be juggling like 6 projects worth about $18 million at work and keep it all straight...

Before this I liked to get about 8-9 hours of sleep a night. I'm hurtin...
 
Absolutely. Universities should have exemptions for night people. It's so hard to stay sharp in those a.m. classes!
 
I'll take the egg, put bleu cheese dressing on it, take a bite, then put more dressing on it, take a bite, so forth and so on. When I reach the yolk, I usually get rid of it...
You just got rid of the best part!


As for me, yes, I am definitely a night owl. Every day by 6:00 pm I'm absolutely exhausted, but by 9 or 10 I'm completely awake and can't get to sleep. :eek:
 
I'm normally quite a nightowl, but sleeping until 2:00 PM makes me feel like kind of a loser. I've been trying to adopt a fairly "normal" sleep schedule this week, but so far I've just had insomnia like crazy. It's really beginning to piss me off.
 
If I didn't have school, I'd be goin to sleep at 4AM every night. I'm definitely a night owl. I hate waking up, and I like to have a good amount of sleep.
 
Totally. I have absolutely no problem staying up until 4-5 in the morning, even after a long, long day of hiking or swimming. I work and study better at night, so I'm usually up until 1-2 am on school nights. The real killer is getting up at 4:30 to get to 7 am classes...
 
I am. I can't possible fall asleep before 11:00 anymore. But in other words, yes I am comfortable going to sleep at around 2-2:30 and wasking up at around 1 in the afternoon.
 
Absolutely i'm a night owl - but the problem is, it snow-balls, and the later i go to bed the later i get up and so on.... luckily i can do whatever i want in my job (hell, my boss doesn't come in before 11am usually). :)

The problem is, right now my body's australian time, and i should be on US eastern time...
 
I don't know, really. I guess I usually stay up till midnight-1 A.M., if that counts as a night owl.

I'm sort of in between, I guess.
 
It's kinda strange. About 4 years ago I used to work night***** at a homeless shelter (one of those 11pm-7am shifts). I stopped working there in 2003, and I still have problems falling asleep at night. During school, I find that I'm the most productive at night, when I have no distractions, and in all honesty, I don't even feel drowsy after an all-nighter. I guess my biological clock is all screwed up.
