I've been on a big Apple Watch band purchasing spree. Getting a Milanese, more sport bands, link bracelet, leather loops, etc and I find whenever I go on my long walks or go hiking, I get worried about sweating all over these sexy bands. Been using the sport whenever I plan on getting a good workout.

Does anyone else worry about sweat and their nice bands or do you just meh? And do whatcha want?

If you know you're going to go hiking, simply put on the sport band in advance. Sweat shouldn't hurt the link bracelet as you can easily wash it afterward. All leather bands have a limited shelf life and will have to be replaced after so many months anyway.

I think you answered you own question. Hiking, working out, garden work, and anything similar would be when you wear your sports band. However, if you are at work and a basketball game breaks out, all of your metal bands can easily be washed and the leather bands can be washed with leather cleaners or just a little soap and water.

Just wash when done. :)

I'd only be concerned about leather for watch bands. My only watch with a leather strap (for now) is a vintage dress watch. I wash off all the steel, rubber, and nylon bands on my regular watches.

I wouldn't have bought the AW if it couldn't be rinsed off. I already have a previous-generation iPod Nano and stopped trying to wear it like a wristwatch because it wasn't waterproof at all.

No because I wear one of my sport bands when I'm working out or doing stuff around the house/yardwork. I rinse off the band and watch after my workout (or after working in the yard)

I too use the sport band while working out, going on a run, etc. No matter to me if it gets sweaty, because it's supposed to, and it's easy to clean. Actually I only have sport bands, and they all still look good even after every day wear going on at least 6 months now.

Leather bank for work and sports band for running, walking etc :)

Cheers !

This is same as you don't wear 6" heel for running, nor sandal with full tuxedo.
Wear appropriated band for appropriated event and clothes. After all, this is why Apple make it take 10 second to replace them, so we could change it any time we want, faster than changing shoes.

Yep, I always switch to a sport band before working out, though the only other kinds I have are a leather loop and Milanese loop. I just want to keep them looking as nice as possible as long as possible.
