Are you decided on how much storage you will get?

At least no pre-order gives us a bit more time to think about how much storage we really want. No way will I get 16, so I'm on the fence between 32 and 64 right now. Everything will fit on the 32 for me, but I may or may not spring for the 64 just because it's only a hundred bucks more. And so I can use the full capability of the phone if ever need be.

What about you?

Have 32GB right now, but it feels small. Thinking about going 64GB, but not for sure, yet. I feel the price should be lower than what is currently offered.

Also on the fence between 32 and 64. I've always had 16 and its too small now.

I see it as 32 would be comfortable and flexible, whereas 64 is no limits!! But 400 + upgrade fee+ taxes for a phone? A bit overboard for me.

32Gb. It's much easier to justify the 32GB to the 64GB, but I've about 500MB left on my 16Gb. Admittedly it needs a clear out, but I think I'd definitely outgrow 16Gb if I got a 5S and kept it for almost three years as I have my 4.

I was on the fence between 32 and 64 but I decided to sell my iPhone 4S and use the money to get a 64 GB. I'd rather be safe than sorry!

16 is too small for me. I think 32 is enough but I may go for 64, well because I can.

Space grey 64 GB AT&T with black and product (RED) cases.

Leaning towards 32GB. While a 64GB would be nice, it's hard to stomach the idea of paying over $900 after taxes for a phone.

Plus I have:
iTunes Match
75GB of Dropbox storage
Unlimited data

To help cut down on memory usage.

32GB did me fine with my 4S and there's lots of apps I could remove with 4GB currently spare. I find it hard to justify paying for the 64GB when it has no other specification upgrades.

32. While I like the 5S, this is the first ever year I would be content with keeping the same phone. That said, with my growing music library and the higher quality camera, I can no longer manage by storage space. The past few months I've been playing this pick-and-choose delete game between apps and photos and music and I'm sick of it. It's time I upgraded to a 32GB.

I had hoped to buy an iPhone 5 32gb from t-mobile but all they had were 16gb models.

I will definetely be getting a 32gb the next phone I get.

Im soooo Glad almost everyone is saying 32GB, this way I have an easier time getting the 16GB version.

Im not big on apps, and I only really use my storage for music and pictures taken with the iphone.

So 16GB is fine for me.

Edit: Also until Apple allows for you to drag and drop files (movies), I personally have no need for more than 16GB. I ifnd it too cumbersome using itunes for Movies.

Was going to get the 64 because I have about 40gigs of music, but it dawned on me that I only listen to music via Spotify now and have iTunes Match so I have no need to physically have all my music on my phone. So 32 it is.

I am also debating between 32gb and 64gb. I currently have the 4s with 16gb and I seem to constantly be deleting apps and most importantly my precious photos and vids.
CROM !!! .
I guess i'll just settle for the 64gb as I'd rather wear boxers than briefs... I like the breathing room <<>>

I am happy with my 5 and my 16g. If I was going to purchase a 5S I would still get the 16g. Any increase is a waste of money IMO. With iCloud and the ability to sync wirelessly to iTunes is does not make sense to me to load up a phone with tons of music and I refuse to watch movies on a 4 inch screen when I have a 60 inch tv at home. I have plenty of excess room left on my phone now and I have lots of apps (more than I need) and plenty of music. I have a 32g ipad that I only bought because the 16g was unavailable. I have 10gs left on it and can't seem to fill it up. If they made a 10tb phone I'm sure that wouldn't be enough for some.

Sums it up for me as well. I'll be sticking with 32GB until they make it standard and I'll move to 64GB.

I have itunes match but prefer to just have everything on my phone and be done with it. Secondly, and more importantly to a lot of folks, is games. Many are huge. I'm playing Real Racing 3 right now and it's 1.4GB's. Many games are huge in there memory footprint. Those pretty graphics come at a cost. Just because you consider it a waste of money don't mean others don't find it money well spent.

Personally I find the need for a 128GB nuts. But there are plenty of people out there that have the need for that kind of storage and I respect that. I believe Apple is just being greedy by keeping 16GB the base model knowing tons of folks will be upgrading to a higher memory level. I imagine there is a technical issue keeping 128GB from happening otherwise they'd be more than happy to cash those checks, even if it meant the top tier had to exceed the typical $100 step up.

Always got 16. I just don't find it necessary to store things on my phone when I have a 2TB external drive for videos/pics etc.

Handbrake is your friend. It's free and stupid simple to use. Just encode and add the file to iTunes. Not way that is cumbersome.

I did say IMO which means in my opinion. I guess I should have spelled it out in the first place. I also understand others do like more space but the amount of money ($100) to go from 16g to 32g is ridiculous. In my opinion:rolleyes:

64 gig for me. That is what I have on my 4s.

Always go with the most you can afford.

64 gb for me. Firstly it will be quite easy to find these on launch day. Also, i like to have a bunch of miscellaneous games and photos/videos on my phone, so i need all the space I can get. I dislike having to stream things also...i only use spotify to discover new music mostly
