I don’t think that can be used to dismiss the fact that many people here are toxic toward the Air, which can affect some people’s self-esteem. Negative comments can bother normal people and increase their insecurity.
Since I live in NYC, I can see how the Air would be very popular with the Tribeca Finance crowd-- having a nice thin device to slip into suit pockets. This is where the Air would excel. Perhaps CEOs and other execs, too, who have multiple connected devices on them and don't need stellar battery life. The whole point of the Air is that it’s a flex that makes other phones look incredibly porky. I’m not sure why anyone would be ashamed to own it.
That’s because it’s a low-effort troll postI don’t understand the premise.
There’s been an unfortunate amount of negative chatter about the Air lately, and Pro (Max) users in particular (not all of them, of course) often seem eager to prove it shouldn’t even exist. So here’s a question for Air users: have you ever caught yourself, while using your Air in public, feeling a little embarrassed that someone might see you with this so-called “compromise” phone?
Which is equally utterly absurd isn't it 😂I'd be more embarrassed being seen out using any iPhone 16 models.
IKR? Why embarrassed. To me, it's a rather bizarre question. Why would anyone be embarrassed to use an iPhone?
The Air isn't THAT different...especially in a case.
Folks, I hate to break it to you ... but nobody cares what your phone is anymore.
Nobody.
Apple need to get their marketing campaign on this. Just a montage of people slipping the Air into slim pockets and handbags would be more than enough.Since I live in NYC, I can see how the Air would be very popular with the Tribeca Finance crowd-- having a nice thin device to slip into suit pockets. No need to be in Tribeca - basically everyone working with suits every day (like me) enjoys the Air - the weight difference in pockets is astounding.Since I live in NYC, I can see how the Air would be very popular with the Tribeca Finance crowd-- having a nice thin device to slip into suit pockets. Excellent device with more-than-excellent battery life, incredible bezel-less screen and all else you need in a thin enclosure - only those who don't have it bash it.
Yeah, those days are over. Even if you have an older iPhone, most people will think it's cool you're holding onto itWhy would anyone be embarrassed to use an iPhone?
