Probably i would have been excited more than i am, but lately i bought 12 mini and feeling that it calmed my itch until my wallet will be excited too later down the year.

Is Apple expected to hand out invites for the iPhone event this week?
We can’t know for sure, but with digital events Apple send invites a few days later than a physical event, because people don’t have to travel to Cupertino. With an event likely September 14, we can expect invites to be send September 6 or 7

Not really. What is there to be excited about compared to the iPhone 12 lineup? A slightly larger battery and smaller notch are welcome, of course, but not revolutionary enough to get that “wow!” feeling, IMO.
I’m with ya

hopefully we get ProMotion this year at least / long last lol

but still oled seems pretty smooth to me

I'm excited to retire my 6s Plus . But I have reservations with the 13 not having Touch ID. I will buy it and if I don't like the phone I will return it like I did with the 11 , I hope it's much better than the 11

I have been excited for iPhones every year except this one. The 12 is great already. I am more excited about the iPad mini Pro, Apple Watch, and new 16 inch macbook

Excited for the event yes, the phone not so much, basically the same as my 12 pro max with the additon of 120hz, something iPhones don’t need, only reason android phones have 120hz, is to hide the lag, that still doesn’t help them. 🤦‍♂️😂

Im always excited for new iPhones, but just out of curiosity. Probably not gonna buy one since I have the 12. but I’m excited to see what’s new.

So far we haven’t heard much exciting, especially for the non-pro models. But the 11 was also supposed to be a tiny update which eventually turned out to be decent, so let’s hope it’s something like that.

I'd say I'm always "very curious" as opposed to excited. Love it when they really shake things up as with the iPhone X for example.

I was but not really now. I was pumped to replace my 11 Pro but the new iPhones don’t do anything different really in any new way that makes a difference for me day to day. Watch Series 7 is much more exciting for me. New design, and I’ve never had a cellular watch so being able to leave my phone at home will be nice.

The last time I was truly wowed by a new iPhone was a long time ago when I saw the 6 Plus on display in a store. It was the latest and greatest at the time. Fundamentally different than the iPhone 5S before it. That was probably the last time I experienced iPhone lust. Every iPhone since has been a "hmmm" for me.
