I think we will, it would be a nice addition to the electronics family, but still actually all depends on the features...

I still haven't figured out how I would get it hooked up to my living room TV. My cable box is attached to the TV's one HDMI port, and the component connections are in use by a DVD recorder and a 360. Guess I might need to invest in an HDMI switch?

But I do need a good way to get these TV show seasons from iTunes to the big TV...

I have an HDMI port reserved for one since it seems to do everything I'd like it to do, so unless there's a monumental gotcha, I will be picking one up.

sadly no. We dont really have a tv. it is about 20 years olf 15" and gets two channels. So there really is not reason.

Play.com do a HDMI switch box, pricey at £85.

Half that figure and its a sale, although i have 1 spare HDMI and the Component inputs on my Sony 50" HD RP. :D

Its a riddiculous bit of technology for the time being. When we can download HD video in real time... And when we can afford to store that media... Its not much of a product at the moment... DVDs are dirt cheap these days anway. Just like the iPhone its about apple moving into the market, not really a great idea either of them... Also, if I'm going to fork out for an 'itv' I may as well go the whole hog and buy a mac mini... One day they may end up being the same thing...

If it does what they say now then no. Extras then maybe...
Couldn't have said it better myself.

So far the revealed features don't impress me at all. If I can integrate the iTV with my current cable service, i.e. it has the ability to record television and/or Leapord has the ability to record television and stream it to the iTV, then maybe...

Pretty much the same here. I already have a DVR, and I have an iMac connected by wire to my LCD TV. And I already even have the DVR wirelessly talking to all the Macs... so right now, I'm not sure there's a piece of the puzzle I'm missing. Although if I didn't live in such a small apartment, it might be a different deal...

Was 90% sure I'd get it until recently, now a lot less because I have to buy a PC laptop soon (for various reasons) ... now the iTV must have some great features (beyond already revealed) for the suggested price for me to purchase it.... :(
