just a smart cover for me. But, I like the way my iDevices feel without any extra case or layers between the product and my hand.

Only a bumper on my iPhone 5 (yay monoprice!), leather cover on my iPad3 for transport, and only the smart cover for my mini

I'm going with just a rubber tpu case on the back of mine. I normally use a screen protector but I'd prefer just the glass. I want my mini as light as possible.

A case for iPad or iPhone is also unneeded unless your a klutz or want to degrade the looks of the device.

I'll probably not, but I do want some sort of a case because I'm assuming the back of the iPad will scuff up like an iPhone 5
