Also if you feel like expanding upon your opinion in a post please state which iPhone you’re referring to, so conversation can be a little more nuanced

Purposefully left out “haven’t upgraded yet” as an option too - only want people’s opinion based on some experience

iPhone 14 Pro, seems stable so far and no issues. Wasn't having any issues prior, but glad it didn't introduce any new ones:)

Nope! I don't notice any difference. It doesn't seem like anything was fixed on my phone (14 PM). In fact, since updating, Face ID works less than half the time now. The annoying hiccuping when closing apps to the home screen is still present for me. My status bar randomly disappears. It gets hung up when trying to switch or edit lock screens. Guess I'll just hold out hope for 16.2 to fix things...

Really liking it on my 14 Pro Max. Love Live Activities (really integrated beautifully with the Dynamic Island), dynamic battery, streamlining of messages & customization of lock & home screens. I haven’t played with any of the other goodies yet. Running very smoothly but 16.0.3 was also running smoothly.

So far, so good on my 14 Pro. But then, I've not really had any issues on the previous iOS versions other than maybe slightly sub-standard battery results but nothing drastic. Hopefully 16.1 addresses that but too soon to confirm.

It's fine, but I can't tell any difference. I didn't have battery issues and I don't like seeing the battery percentage, so..whatever.

All good so far on my 12 mini. No particular stand-out new features that I've taken advantage of yet but everything seems to be working smoothly. Battery life is good.

I’m not seeing the battery improvement over 16.0.3. Seems a little less actually. However, only had 1 full day of use.

iPhone 14 pro.

Hasn’t fixed the lag in touch input for me. When waking up the phone and trying to scroll thru notifications, first touch doesn’t register 50% of the time. This is for when always on display is toggled on

Also, notifications in count style shouldn’t pop up only when we press on the bottom number of notifications indicator. That creates unnecessary touch point. Instead the notification list should appear when scroll up

I haven't had any issues with it so far for the 14+, even though I do think Apple needs to rethink how they do notifications (Why not have an icon at the top of the phone) because I'm finding that part kind of hard to navigate. I said not sure, though, because this question leads me to think maybe I should have issues with 16.1, even though I probably won't use all the features it has to offer.

Also, I wish there was a way to not have auto-lock on when you're driving, but when you aren't it can automatically turn back on. My Car Play crashes so I decided to go the route of a car mount (Honda Accord 2017) but when I'm not driving I forget to turn the phone off. We should have like a smart behavior focus in 2022 or something. Maybe if there is anyone else who has gone the route of car mounts (Uber/Lyft Drivers?) you can give me advice on how to handle this slight annoyance.

WAY better battery life than what I was getting on 16.0.3. It’s like back to normal. I’ve tested this today by doing the same thing and it’s very apparent the drain from 100-80 has been minimized and the phone runs a bit cooler.

Maybe I had a process stuck or something but I’ve tried everything on 16.0.3 and it just sucked.

Updated via iTunes on my MacBook. Backed everything up and I’m good to go!

Might be seeing improved battery on my 11pro, and still question if this was all by design to push me to upgrade last month?

Still cannot auto connect to my provider’s free wifi. Must manually do it. HIGHLY annoying, and all other wifi works fine. Broke from 16.0. Phone tested ok by Apple authorized service. SK Telecom blames the phone. Samsung phone with same sim is fine.
