Love it... was waiting for so long to get my first smartphone.
Previously had a regular Nokia phone - huge huge step up!

Yes. I wanted a phone that was quicker and had a better camera. That is really it. Maybe some would say that getting those upgrades wasn't worth the price of the phone. Fair enough.

I wanted to upgrade and had the money so I got it and am quite happy.

Those wanting a whole-new phone were going to be disappointed from Day 1

Well internally it pretty much is a whole new phone, the only thing they coulda done was a bigger screen, which I'm guessing they didn't as there isn't any ready that they want to use, which is fair enough. I'm not fussed with having a bigger screen as I can use this one perfectly fine 1 handedly. Any bigger and it's uncomfortable and you have to use 2 hands. I've tried bigger screened phones and loathe them for that fact.

So surprised with all the positives , I am happy just figured there would be more that were kinda bummed that physically it stayed the same on the outside. I'm not sure I will ever buy another Htc phone which is what I am coming from .

If I wasn't happy, I'd just have to deal with it. Sold my iPhone 4 for the 4s.

At least it's faster and I have white this time.

Upgraded from a 3GS, and VERY happy! Now just waiting for my wife and son's so that we are all on the 4S.

Very happy. Coming from a 3Gs!!!! It was time!!! But honestly, the 3Gs was a really good phone!!!

I _am_ waiting quite patiently.

There's nothing wrong with the 4S, I bought one for my wife. I passed simply because I will not buy another tiny iPhone with a postage stamp sized display.

I am completely spoiled by my Galaxy SII's big gorgeous display. Knowing that Apple could offer one as good or better but dont, is quite frustrating. I'm a huge Apple enthusiast & happy for their success.

I just wish they would stop taking advantage of the fact that fanbois & others will settle for anything Apple puts out.

How many of the 4 million buyers on launch day would you think are "fanbois?"

Do you genuinely believe they bought the phone and thought to themselves "I'm settling but I'll get it anyway?". C'mon man.

I upgraded from a 3GS. I love my new phone. The standouts are 3G speeds (AT&T), snappy performance in games and safari, the camera (better than any P&S I've ever owned), and Siri (which is not only cool but also useful). And since I didn't have the 4, I'm getting to enjoy the retina display for the first time.

Very happy iPhone 4S customer

I must say I am very happy with my purchase. Coming from BB Bold 9900. Even though I missed the BB keyboard, with Siri and 8Mpix camera, I think I fall in love with the iPhone even more.

im happy i think i want to trade up and get a 32gb. i currently have a 16 but im not %100 sure. i have more than 18 gigs of music but ill never load that much on it. Has anyone exchanged out there vzw iphone for a bigger size and just paid the difference of the 2?

Extremely Happy! Coming from a Verizon Blackberry Tour. I dont know why I waited so long! The phone is so intuitive, no instructions needed. As far as Blackberry I dont ever see a reason to go back. They cost the same but functionality is so much better iphone.

Very pleased so far. The improved antenna has really helped in my area allowing me go caseless. Also, really enjoy the improved camera. This is an upgrade for me from the iPhone 4 and I also plan to check out ice cream sandwich when it comes out for my galaxy s ii.

extremely happy

1. coming from a 4, significant speed and signal strength

2. amazing camera. dont have to bring a digicam ever again

3. switched from black to white so it'll match my ipad lol

4. speaker seems to be much louder

5. siri makes all the difference

YES!!!

I upgraded from a 3G that was slightly malfunctioning and beginning to fall apart - literally. It did what it was supposed to do during its life with me, albeit very slowly. I can't blame the poor thing, though, because I accidentally dropped it a few times (one time, the black case actually cracked on the back) and it was also underwater for a brief time. I dried it with a blow drier and let it sit overnight. Most of the functions returned the next day. The "fog" behind the glass cleared up a few days later. The "up" volume button function returned roughly a month later. Did I mention how unbelievably slow the 3G was? ;)

Either way, I know I waited an awfully long time to upgrade, but I am happy with my decision and I am in heaven right now with the 4S!!! I can't believe how fast it is for everything I do. My favorite feature is Siri and I use it all the time because I drive a lot. I love the fact that Siri helps me keep my eyes on the road more than I normally do. I know it's not safe to use the phone and drive at the same time, but it would be pretty difficult for me to pull over every two minutes to use my phone.

The bottom line? I'm a very happy camper!

The long wait for Sprint to get the iPhone was worth it. My device has already proven to be worth it.
