None of those would be a reason to bail...IMO! If they are system-wide problems they'll be fixed with the inevitable updates.
Everything that works perfectly fine on the X should also work perfectly fine on the XS. Anything less is unacceptable.

I am very happy with my 512 GB sim free gold XsMax as only “512” GB Xs”Max” is the most “true” and “complete” ‘Max (maximum)’ with maximum size and the best newest maximum storage. Fortunate for me and others who can own this truest, ultimate and maximum storage Xs”Max”
Dude... The amount of times you've repeated this very statement is scary. You seem like a ****** weirdo x10000. WE GET IT BRO

Pretty much happy with the Max going from Samsung s8 plus. Except for Apple Pay which is just about useless. Used to use my phone for practically all terminals but all the big box stores I visit doesn't use it.

My xs max is absolutely gorgeous. Sadly it's just way too heavy for me. It's goo g back tomorrow. Using an se for now (God totally opposite lol) until I decide what to do. Wish they'd make a device with face id the size of the se! Haha

It works great but there's a yellow tint at the top half of my screen that is pretty annoying.

Same boat. I loved my 7 Plus, but I loved my X even more. Now that I'm back to the biggest screen with the XS Max, it seems to be just a smidge too much. I love the phone and the extra screen size is nice, but not a necessity and the benefit does not outweigh the drawbacks of how heavy this thing is and how much less pocketable it is. Gonna give it this week and hope some apps get updated, but may take a trip to the Apple store on Friday to pick up a XS.
And I, on the other hand, want an even larger iPhone.

Have you Tried turning off true tone?
It's not that, or night shift or any other setting. I'm not really sure what it is, I've read on here some others have this too. Looking at it straight on and using it like normal, my phone has a yellowish/warm tint on most of the top half of the screen, yet if I tilt it to the left or right slightly, it looks normal. I had a Space Gray XS Max before I swapped it for the gold, and my Space Gray one looked like what I just described when I would tilt the phone slightly.

Wasn't planning on getting an Xs Max but am happy with it.

(Had an X that I gave to my father, and that was my reason to get an Xs Max)

Love everything about it except the price.

Honestly, for everything that iPhone ask ask Max is offering, I have no complaints about the price, the technology with Face ID, OLED panel, construction with the stainless bands/glass, camera, stereo speakers, wireless charging, etc. are all really *worth* the price.

[I put ‘worth’ in asterisks, because that’s what appeals to me, but may not for everybody else. But this phone is packed full of technology, I really have a nothing else I could ask for.]

Nope.

Dealing with greatly reduced (-110 or more signal) on the Max compared to my X (-60). Fortunately, I haven’t gotten rid of the X and started the return process on my Max.

Way too expensive of a phone to be dealing with anything remotely close to this. Combined with only a 14 day return period, and doubtful Apple pushes anything out or addresses in that window, the Max is the first Apple product I have had to return.

nobody here has the reception issues that are being talked about on another thread?
Yep. Really disappointing

I’m wondering how many people are checking?

Yeah it’s cool but this creaking noise is really starting to drive me crazy and no I’m not twisting my phone or anything.

Love everything about the Max except for really crappy connectivity. I went from LTE at home and in my home town area to 3G or just no service. Unless they fix this issue this week, it’s going back. So sad to have to return it but I can’t keep a phone that can’t do the basics.

I’m in the same boat as you. I have an Appointment with Apple today. As you said, it’s unlikely there will be a fix before the return window so with sadness, I’ll be going back to my 6S Plus. Same as you, first Apple device that I’ve ever had the need to return.

I am VERY happy. I was somewhat reluctant as to adopt Face ID and big displays but now that I have I just feel like I can't go back to Touch ID and anything smaller than 6.5 inches. Reception is fine as well, no issues whatsoever.

Your phone is NO better than a 64gb or even 256gb model. You keep saying how yours is the only “true” version just because you paid $1500 and it has the most storage. If you fill all of it, that’s great. But to make it seem like you have anything more than an extra 448gb of storage and an extra $400 at checkout, you’re delusional. I see you talking about “flagship” and all kinds of stuff like that, so imagine is obviously extremely important to you. No problem with that, but having 512gb is worthless if you don’t use all of it. Your camera posts the same selfies to Instagram that the 64 and 256 models do. They just aren’t “true” and “ultimate” like yours is lol.

Have to manage that 512gb too. Future iPhone? Now you got half a tb to back up and restore. I could maybe see doing this for iPad but I don’t really see need on phone unless you like giving away money.

Yeah it’s cool but this creaking noise is really starting to drive me crazy and no I’m not twisting my phone or anything.

Is this a common issue? Are there any videos out there which demonstrate this? I am curious so I know what to look out for.
