My latest definite, final decision is the 42mm, SS with white sports band. Which is the Tim Cook Special.

Who else is getting that? And how dark is your skin. My only reservation is that my skin is too pasty to give a decent contrast with the band.

We know for sure that he wears the 42mm? That is the exact combination that I am considering. I think it looks really good.

Yep same here, although the white band will be my 'additional' band - black leather loop the primary band that I'll pre-order.

No. I think TC looks silly w/ a white band. It's a young persons color. No man outside their early 20s should be wearing one -- maybe an exception if they are in the creative sector, but not management, and never over 35.

This made me chuckle. I'm 32, work in the creative sector (although not a creative myself) and ordering the white band as an exercise band in addition to the leather loop. I also envisage wearing it when I'm feeling 'trendy' lol.

i like your reasoning. :)

Tim Cook's the CEO of the biggest company in the world. I imagine he wears whatever the hell he wants. I'll go with that.

I'm not 100% in the Tim Cook Club, I've decided on the 42mm SS with black sport band rather than white. So 50% in?

It's pure white, right? I don't care how "pasty" you are, barring some pigment deficiency like albinism, you're going to look more tan than the watch.

In actuality, lighter clothing and bands can help people with lighter complexions look more tan than they are. Very dark clothing and bands create contrast, which can accentuate paleness. But the worst you can do is match your complexion, IE don't wear the sand-colored leather loop unless you're dark enough that it contrasts well.

Sort of - that's one of my favourite combinations, but I'd probably buy it in the 38mm version.

All depends if I can convince myself to pony up to buy the SS version. I do much prefer it, but my wallet much prefers the Sport watch.

I'll be buying the white sport band as a backup to the leather loop that I'll be ordering when I get the AW. This way I can rock the Tim Cook look when the mood strikes, so count me in.

I would be in the Tim Cook club but I feel the White band will look more grubby over time. I'm going with the 42mm Stainless Steel with black sport band and probably get the blue leather loop as a secondary band.

It's actually £10 cheaper to get the watch with the loop and get the sport band as secondary...

£599 for watch with loop, £39 for the band, £638 total
£519 for watch with sport band, £129 for the loop, £648 in total

I know it's only £10, but at these prices... ;)
