No I don't. My previous phone (S23 Ultra) had an AOD option that I miss on my 15PM: 'show for new notifications'. It would be great if this option would be included in an upcoming update.

I’ve been using the always on display, very useful for notifications etc without having to pick it up. I do turn the wallpaper off though.

Coming from an 11 pro, so this is a new feature to me. I think I kind of like the always on display, but am I suffering from huge battery drain? Have people turned it off and having battery battery life ?
Useless.

I have mine turned off. I thought I’d like it for the nightstand/alarm aspect, but haven’t wound up using it.

Mine is turned off, if I’m not looking at my phone it’s in my pocket most of the time and my Apple Watch can provide a quick glance for notifications, messages and of course the time.

Always on Display is turned off on my 15 PM. It makes sense to use this feature on the Apple Watch (which I don't even use on my Watch Ultra), but I don't think there is any point in using it on a mobile phone. It is also a feature that negatively affects the battery.

Never turned it on so far. I see no need for it. First, I live free and don't care about time. Second, I rarely get notifications since I use my phone as a tool and now mindless scrolling device and don't have any social media.

I have always used AOD on all my devices that support it. Battery life is never an issue as I charge my iPhone overnight while sleeping. My Ultra 2 Watch battery lasts a day and a half or more even with AOD on. I can always charge it for 30 mins during the day if I need more charge to get through the day. Never any burn-in issues either.

AOD is one of the best features on the phone and it has minimal, if any impact on battery life, even if it did it is worth it

I use the always on display on my iPhone 15 pro. I have a time tracking program, and I like to look at the phone to check its timing something when it should. And I don't use an Apple Watch.

I don’t use it because my phone is more often than not in my pocket or my bag. Even when I do have it out, it doesn’t strike me as being particularly useful.I appreciate the option of being able to turn it off.

I have mine turned on. I have plenty of battery life at the of the day anyway.

I got a 15 last month and just switched for a Pro instead. I'll mess with the AOD for a while, but as far as battery life with the new iphone, I only need to charge every other day so AOD is not a problem there.

Mines off, got my Apple Watch for notifications at a glance and my phone if not in use is in my pocket so no need for it to be on.

Why not keep it on? It’s easy to see the time.

I only have it shut off in low power mode and sleep mode to reduce distractions.

I know this thread is about the 15 Pro, but when I got the 16 Pro Max, AOD was one of the first features I turned off in settings as I don't have a use for is as an Apple watch wearer. The time and notifications are even more convenient on my wrist.

Always on FTW. It's a great feature and I see no negatives about using it. Oh, and it disables when it's really dark, like in pitch black room or in a pocket and a purse. Love it

I prefer to just turn the screen off when I am done, and turn it back on when I need to use the phone. It's really not that hard. I also don't use auto-screen-lock. I prefer to decide when I am done.

I keep it on for both of them. If I cannot look at something on my wrist then I can see a notification come through my iPhone. 📲 while I am on the desk looking at my computer. 🖥️

I keep auto lock to after 4 or 5 minutes. I am a multitasker.

I had it turned on when I had my 14PM and it’s been turned on for my 15PM, since launch day. I also have it on for my AWU2. My battery sucks either way, so there’s no point turning it off, and I carry either my Anker Zolo or Anker 10k slim, charging power bank with me when I leave the house, so I never worry about battery life. Plus I’m trying to get my battery down to 79% to get a battery replacement. I’m at 85% capacity with 503 cycles.
