This is the first Apple product I have returned amongst the countless dozens I have purchased. I returned the ATV 4K due to the constant HDR setting and the lack of native resolution detection. I am curious if you will be keeping your ATV 4K or returning it back to Apple.

I'm keeping mine. Not only because i already gave my previous version away but because I know Apple will fix the issues with a software update.

Keeping mine as I imagine the software fixes will come sooner than later. I don't watch a ton of content every day to make switching back and forth that much of an issue.

I’ll probably keep mine, but I’m not so sure a software “fix” is coming. There is a good chance that this was an intentional decision as they viewed the TV briefly turning black when changing modes to be a poor user experience. User experience decisions are rarely changed at Apple, but it does happen.

my very first Apple TV and I'm glad its 4k with both DV and HDR10, keeping it for sure and start selling my xbox one S along with my 4k physical disks, and couple of amazon fire tv, its a perfect partner with my 65C7, hopefully apple can fix some early quirks and bugs.
