I have no clue. Tried iCloud last week and turned it off after a day.

It's really too early for me to be able to determine if I will need more storage or not. If the need arises then I will be able to buy it right when I need it easily, but until then I will go without the extra storage.

It works perfectly for what I need, email and keeping contacts synced between three iPhones and two Macs.

Why chose it over iCloud though?

Because it already works for what I need. I don't care to move over to something else until MobileMe is no more.

iCloud Is Expensive, Apple Wins Again

    Free? Hardly :)

But when I set up iCloud on my iPhone, I found one major catch:

I got 5GB of back-up storage space free, and out of the gate, I was already using 4.8GB!

How could that be? I don't have that much stuff on my phone.

Apple makes you drill down to find settings.

The average user will think "It Just Works" and pay the tariff. Once again Apples brilliant marketing draws them in. Once married to the Eco System Apple harvests the green from their wallet. Brilliant :)

My Stock continues to climb & I can sit back & grin.

    Thanks Apple :)
