A longer dating time is a better idea than anything. Sudden marriages, like my first one, is kind of risky, but not always a disaster. We all know exceptions like two 18 year olds who got married via an arranged marriage and stayed married for life. It happens, but probably rarely.

I think living together is a better judge on if you can last through marriage than dating, my wife and I only dated about 6 months before getting married, but lived together just about that whole time, but I suppose I am one of the exceptions, got married at 18 and our 6th year anniversary is 4/20/09

Not too long ago I got out of a relationship that lasted 5 years with 3 of those being long distance. Tough but I'm ready to move on with someone else.

That sounds like a nice life.
My family is all messed.
My dad is six years older than my mom, who got pregnant with me when she just turned 17.
My parents got divorced shortly after getting married.
I don't talk to my dad at all because he is a screw up.
 
I suspect a lot of the geeky nerdy guys here would love this lady. Just a guess.

My family is really messed up too, even though my parents have a happy marriage. It's really hard to get along with my father so when I went to college I chose one out of my hometown just so I wouldn't have to deal with him on a regular basis.

They are both pretty in my book. Palin has politics I don't like. I am not sure about how Tina Fey votes, or if she even votes. :)

I am just guessing my butt off. How would I really know? If I knew I would be Dr. Phil, and not just some anonymous poster on macrumors. :)
 
I'm really into 'Cute' rather than 'Hot', if that makes any friggin' sense at all.

Nor do I, just its gotta be a bad pic or sumthing, she looks like she took one to many "shots" to the eye, or as I call it "the paris hilton".

Anyway back to the topic.

I have a chronic case of the lonelys :(

By that I mean basically 17 years worth.
