Are you skipping work or school or your own wedding on Friday?

Aah the privilege of working from home that day. :) Planning to cram as much work in as I can before the iPad arrives (and while it syncs) that way I can play in the afternoon.

If I had to wait in line, I would've taken a vacation day (that's what I did last year).
 
It coincides nicely with the second day of the NCAA tournament, which I usually take off for anyway. So why not! (have Thursday off too)
 
I will be working from home both Thursday and Friday (just in case FedEx decides to deliver a day early)
 
Working, but my iPad will be waiting for me once I get home :) That is assuming FedEx doesn't screw my shipping up like they do with other orders.
 
Paid vacation day here. Planning to get some early exercise, then play video games and watch March Madness until the iPad arrives! Can't wait!

I think skipping is not getting paid and calling in sick or something. :)

Although I probably shouldn't waste my day, my order says delivered by 430pm so my luck the Fed Ex guy will arrive at 429 pm
 
Hehe, I was thinking about that. I think I'll be sneaking off early though :). Luckily, my GF will be home so she'll get the first crack at the new iPad. But I will be driving home like a mad man and yelling at every traffic light and car that gets in my way :mad:
 
I unfortunately did not preorder it so I will be taking a paid vacation day and camping out at my local Apple Store. It was fun for the first iPad so why not the new iPad? :)
 
Definitely skip the wedding day, even if it's not a product launch day :D

I'm an online pre-order person, myself.
 
I have booked a day off work. I would never lie about being ill. Its just a lazy half arsed thing to do. It tells you a lot about a person if you ask me.
 
Took a vacation day that I rolled over from last year. Did the same for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S.
 
I'm going to "work" from home that day ... and by "work" I mean sit around the door waiting for the iPad like my cat sits around waiting for food.

I promise to be good and go into work on Saturday.

I'm going to make sure I leave from work at 5 PM on the dot on Friday, that's for sure :p
