Everyone should be required to update to iOS 4.3 since it fixes over 50 security holes in the Safari web browser. Same goes for the desktop versions of iTunes and Safari. We are using swiss cheese, people.

unless your on a jailbreak and need an unlock not updating just doesnt make sense to me. why not have the latest most secure build of the software?

Don't need an unlock (though it would be nice to try some PAYG sim cards to find better 3G signal where I live) so will most likely wait for the JB to come out before upgrading.

Do like the sound of the new features and the different vibrate between email and text messages will be a god-send for me!

I wish i had the choice to update or not! sent my iphone off a few days ago to sort the home button out which wasn't working properly and they said they had updated it for me lol! the funny thing about it is they said they couldn't find a problem with the phone lol. of course i would have updated anyway, but its the principle... right?

I always update my phone whenever a new iOS firmware is released; regardless if what new feature(s) it includes.

Usually I will update for no particular reason, but I have a factory unlocked iPhone (and I deny the carrier update everytime it pops up) and that means "personal hotspot" can finally turn my WIFI-only iPad into a true 3G mobile device!

I kinda figured it was possible to tether the 3G connection from my iPhone to my iPad, so that's the reason I bought a WIFI only device. This was not possible until now (well, until the 11th of March 🙄) so I can't wait to update!
