There nowhere to answer the first question of yes or no, but if I do, it's from 13PM

I’m going from the 13 to the 14 pro or pro max (haven’t decided which one yet). I’m really excited to get my first pro phone!

I’m planning to go back to a pro. I had planned to go pro max, but I’m not positive about that yet.

I had a 13 pro, and sold it to get and try a 13 mini, which is what I’m currently using. I really love the mini, and would likely hang onto it if it weren’t for them getting rid of the notch in the 14 pro line. I’m one of those who has always disliked the notch.

Also, though I think the mini is wonderful for so many things, it definitely isn’t as good for browsing and stuff when I’m in bed at night - just not quite enough screen area. What I AM concerned about is the weight of the pro max in that same scenario, and I may wind up back with a regular pro because of that, but we shall see!

I’m interested to see from what iPhone you’re upgrading
It’s complicated. Technically I’m trading in a 13 Pro to get my 14 Pro/Pro Max. But I only used it for a couple of months. The display gave me migraines. And the camera was kind of messed up. It’s not broken, but it’s always had issues focusing, so nobody else in the family wants it. Rather than try to troubleshoot it when the display bothers me anyway, I would rather just trade it in. I used the 12 Pro Max display just fine so there’s a chance I’ll do ok on the 14 Pro or Pro Max display.

I’m actually on an iPhone 11 on Wi-Fi and my sim is in a SE 2022. I like the big screen for indoor use but it’s still summer weather where I live, so I enjoy carrying the tiny SE 2022 more. I’m a petite woman and large phones weigh down on my shorts pockets. I’m always going to be a multiple phone user.

Wait and see, here. I have an 11 Pro that still works very well, but will upgrade if they surprise us with USB-C (to get 5g, better camera, etc). Not buying another device with a lightning port.

I’m not sure what I’m choosing between the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max yet, either. My inclination is to go for the Max first. Honestly some of it is due to aesthetics. The camera lump is now so huge the proportions on the smaller phone really bother me.

I used to love upgrading my iPhone every year but I just cant be bothered with the cost of keeping up with the latest and greatest for not much of a gain in real-world usage.

So with that being said I will be sticking with my iPhone 12 Pro Max and we will see what the iPhone 15 Pro brings next year.

Same boat :)

I got the 13 Pro Max on a good deal with trading in my 11 PM. Aside from 5G, I don’t feel like I got an upgrade at all. This stuff is redundant. They’re plateauing. That’s why everyone is now going for the next big new thing. Folding or whatever.

If you want it, I feel stock may be limited but then again we’ve got a myriad of issues, you should get it. If you’re just getting it due to keeping up with the Jones so to speak, you’ll be happy with it… until the next.

Edit: I forgot to add it causes eye strain I never used to get. I missed a reply above. 13 Pro Max has given me migraines. I wish I could sell it.

I’d go to a non-pro 14 in a heartbeat if they were losing the notch. I agree the camera bumps are out of control.

Yes, most likely going with the Pro Max or whatever they call it. Have a 7 plus now.

For the first time ever I didn’t upgrade last year. Didn’t see the point. Still on my 12 Pro Max and I’m thinking going Pro this year. I’m hoping skipping a generation I’ll actually feel like the upgrade was worth it.

Just sold my 13 Pro Max today. Mow im back to the Xs Max, until i get my hands on the 14 Pro Max, or whatever they end up calling it.

My X still suits me fine. Not sure if I want to get a new phone but I eventually want a larger phone and the Pro Max would be my choice If I do decide to upgrade...
