Are you worried your Iphone 4S will be taken for the old model?

If I'm ever using my iPhone 4S in public I'm going to tell anyone who stares in my direction "This is an iPhone 4S, not the iPhone 4 okay.".

OP reminds me of the shallow types that remove the "328i" badging on their BMW and stick on an "M" badge in an attempt to trick their neighbors that they have a fast car. Of course no one is fooled, but more accurately no one really cares either way.

Heh, I'm half tempted to go the other way.. got an M3, but hate the attention it gets. I'll probably just debadge it.
 
It is last year model!!!!
The most exciting thing was that Apple change the processor just to keep up w last year competitor

I should get an "S" sticker and put it on the back of my 4. LOL
 
This will be my first phone that's actually worth stealing, so I'm glad that potential muggers could mistake it for a year-old phone. :)

I honestly sometimes hate the iPhone, only because when I'm in a bad area downtown or something and need to use my phone, I am too afraid of getting mugged. lol

Having the same design kind of makes it less desirable for the average mugger.

Okay guys I got an idea to propose to prove that your iPhone is a 4S! Be sure to follow the steps below.

1.) Take a picture of the iPhone 4S box with your brand new, shiny iPhone 4S.
2.) Set it as your Lockscreen.
3.) ???
4.) Don't unlock your iPhone out in the public, they could mistake it for an iPhone 4. Instead, just keep it on the lockscreen to show everyone the iPhone 4S box.
5.) Profit
 
It's sad to think that anyone would feel any different with such a mass produced product.

Im actually pretty happy with the iPhone4S looking like my "old" iPhone4
This way I dont have to explain all of my friends why Im having yet another iPhone (although my IP4 is one year "old" now)

A lot of my friends keep their phone for like 4-6 Years. Ill just keep the 4S thing to myself and say its still the IP4

Yup, that's how I feel too. Don't they know M cars have that M logo/"intakes" on the side?
