I will admit that i got got up in the whole "thinness" game (which is why i bought my macbook).
Especially for a college student like me, it was a really stupid ideology to adopt. Think about it. The textbooks you carry are at least 3X the thickness and probably over 2x the weight of a macbook. this whole weight and thinness issue is ridiculous. I would rather have a fat, morbidly obese laptop that screams performance...than an anorexic, bulemic ultraportable with supermodel looks but no substance.
4200 rpm hardrive?
mono speakers?
no user replalaceable battery?
$1000 + SSD option?
no CD drive?
all for JUST 200 less than a full fledged macbook pro?
uhhhh...please.
