Apple really are incompetent when it comes to the alarm clock in iOS. They've had so many PR disasters every time the clocks change somewhere in the world. You'd have thought they would have got the problem sorted to avoid more negative PR but apparently not.
They always have to try to do **** themselves. They should have just copied and pasted someone else's WORKING clock code. Reading from the system clock was one of the first things we did in programming, and they can't get that right?

I was having the same problem until I restored to 4.2.1 jailbreak. It works fine now. I have an iPhone 4. Kind of a pain since I was waiting for 4.3, but it's worth it to fix the problem.
