    Anyone buying it this month?

I purchased Arkham City on App Store because it was on sale for CAD$5.79 (I actually didn't expect much...), and I was blown away by the gameplay, atmosphere, attention to detail and voice acting. So I am really looking forward to Arkham Knight. Hopefully Mac version of the game gets released soon. Not sure how my late-2012 iMac will handle the game though...

It's unlikely you'll see a mac port sooner than 6months (I'd guess by around xmas). I think the new Civ/Borderlands releases were exceptions to this timeframe.

In the meantime there's the first, Arkham Asylum (also by Rocksteady) which is equally great though smaller in scale to Arkham City. That might be able to hold you over if you haven't tried it.

Either Feral or Aspyr, can't remember which, are already working on the Mac/Linux port. I'd expect it a lot sooner than 6 months after the Windows release.

Love the Batman series... but I've always bought the GOTY editions for less than half the price. I'll try to stay away from reviews and videos so I won't be tempted... LOL...

The way Warner Brothers has a ton of preorder DLC and exclusive bonuses makes it really easy to wait it out for the GOTY. Sorry, but if I have to look at a spreadsheet to figure out what retailers give what bonuses, I'm out.

According to Steam, Mac port will be available "fall 2015." I'm guessing maybe November...? Hopefully price gets dropped as well...

Since it will be SteamPlay, you'll be able to get it at a discount during the Thanksgiving/Winter sales.
