Photos taken with the front camera and both rear lenses look amazing, but when I pull up any ARKit enabled app, the view through the camera looks really bad... Blurry, low-res; nowhere near the quality that the camera app alone gives.

Does anybody else notice this at all? I can try to post up pictures if nobody knows what I'm talking about...

Just for technical accuracy the one guy is reporting that this behavior is also present on the iPhone 7/8 plus, but not on a 6s/7. Sounds like all the dual camera models.

Yeah I thought that was interesting also... When using these same apps on my 6s prior to my upgrade to the X, I thought the ARKit stuff looked amazing.

I get this but I have to say I get exactly the same on the 6S Plus.
I get a much much muddier camera image in ARKit apps than in any dedicated camera apps, on both phones.
Almost like I have a cheap sh*tty screen protector on.
