Artists shown on iPhone Music app

Can someone tell me how to ensure that music on my iPhone 5 is displayed correctly re: Artists..?

Example: The Who is separated for some reason and I have no idea why. All The Who was ripped from my cd's, so I am not sure why it appears as shown below. And not just with this group but a few others.

My guess is that you have one album by The Who that is flagged as "Part of a Compilation". Either that, or there may be a subtle difference like a space after "The Who ". Tags are everything in iTunes ...
