Also I’ll go on Record And share now there won’t be a new iPad Pro until November 2020.

I'm still hopeful for fall 2019. And if not fall 2019, then by spring 2020.

BTW, I will go on record to say it will have 6 GB RAM too.

Only after October has come and gone with no new iPad Pro.

I salute you steadfastness, that being said. New iPad Pro A14X CPU announces at or after the 5G IPhone Pro

There chance for an October surprise.

Once of their best non-iPhone events ever.

So there could be an October Laptop, Mac, iPad event

Has 2019 came and went already?? Oh, that’s right it’s September.

iPad Pro and MacBook Pro 16 have been rumored for October.....not the annual September iPhone event....you know the one for iPhones...that they do every year....for the past decade....

but even if they don’t have new Pros...your whole argument was still pointless, the new 10.2 iPad was still reason enough for some to wait one month until the September keynote. Those who would have listened to you and bought the old iPad would have been stuck with a smaller, less capable iPad. But cool man, toot your own horn.

Yeah, I honestly think that weird rumor about the A12X being reused was for Apple TV or iPad Pro with some iPhone 11 tech add ons (Wifi 6 and RAM.)
But if they want to make a show for it... I see it getting everything the 11 iPhone got. I don’t think it will have the 3 cameras or OLED display, but maybe some XDR features and maybe different aluminum shell.
BUT, if no upgrade occurs until next year, the latest iPad Pro with A12X, is still the most powerful iOS device around. A13 or not.

K.

FWIW, the 3rd generation iPad Pro is now on the refurb store everywhere.

Last hurrah to clear out stock before next month’s update? ;)

Per my calendar, 2019 is far from over and last year's pro was announced in October so I'm not even sure why this thread exists let alone why it's titled as is. As of right now, no one knows if a pro will be released in 2019. I think Spring of 2020 to be more likely, but who knows?

We haven't yet had October and November. Apple has released plenty of iPads in October/November.

I doubt it will be a big update - most likely better camera, A13X + new GPU etc.

Seems not, at least for 3rd gen in USA Apple online store. Where are you located? Where is your everywhere? ;)
Third generation iPad Pros were on both the US and Canada refurb stores (and as reported previously, in Europe and Asia). It may have only been 11” on the Canadian and US stores, but it is still there at both stores.

From the US refurbished store:

After yesterday’s disaster I don’t expect anything innovative or user focused product from Apple while Tim Apple sits there.

Those refurb prices are higher than Amazon's every day price in the US.
Mostly not true:

Apple Refurb:
$679 - 64 GB WiFi
$809 - 256 GB WiFi
$979 - 512 GB WiFi
$1149 - 1 TB WiFi
$939 - 256 GB WiFi + Cellular
$1279 - 1 TB WiFi + Cellular

Amazon.com:
$674 - 64 GB WiFi (Space Gray)
$749 - 64 GB WiFi (Silver)
$899 - 256 GB WiFi
$999 - 512 GB WiFi
$1149 - 1 TB WiFi (Silver)
$1399 - 1 TB WiFi (Space Gray)
$999 - 256 GB WiFi + Cellular (Space Gray)
$1021 - 256 GB WiFi + Cellular (Silver)
$1549 - 1 TB WiFi + Cellular (Silver)
$1584 - 1 TB WiFi + Cellular (Space Gray)

The only one that's currently cheaper at Amazon is specifically the 64 GB WiFi Space Gray. The price is the same for the 1 TB WiFi Silver, and all the other ones that Apple is selling right now are currently more expensive at Amazon.

Amazon has been cheaper in the past, but we don't have that time machine handy.

Not bad, still much more than what I can really justify for upgrading my iPad Air 2! Which is; by and large, a 9.7" alarm clock. BUT, I will be watching to see if the price falls anymore with the launch of a new 11" pro. Mainly because if my 256GB iPhone X is now worth £310; according to Apple, we should expect a larger price fall! Right?

For the record, the MC Kuo prediction was as follows:

https://www.macrumors.com/2019/05/05/kuo-lcp-antennas-2019-iphones-ipads/
https://technews.tw/2019/04/25/new-ipad-pro-lcp-board/

"In a separate research note last month, which has only been seen by Taiwanese media so far, Kuo said two new iPad Pro models with the same 11-inch and 12.9-inch screen sizes as the current models will enter mass production between the fourth quarter of 2019 and the first quarter of 2020."

If it truly doesn't enter mass production until about October then we would see it in late calendar Q4 or early 2020 Q1.

Apple registered 7 iPad model numbers with the EEC. We’ve only seen 3 yesterday. More are coming this year for sure.
Either this fall or next spring for sure. And it may be a press release upgrade. Apple definitely has not shied away from that style of unveiling if the update is truly just a spec bump.

We ran into this anxiety last year too. There were actual pictures of the new iPad Pro screen configurations in iOS 12 code (I believe product names too?). They did not show up at the September keynote and people got REALLY worried--myself included, because I had sold my 10.5" Pro to maximize profit. But there was more than enough smoke there to assume that new models were coming very soon.

This year is a LITTLE different because we don't have graphical proof, but that could very well just be because the design isn't really changing too much, if at all.

I honestly think this is incorrect. Nothing about yesterday guarantees anything about whether or not new Pros are coming this year. As I mentioned above, we had a better tipoff last year because there was icon evidence of the new design in the code. Just based on the assumption that there's probably not a new design this time around, there wouldn't be any visual evidence hidden in iOS. But we do still have those new model numbers left that yesterday's base model upgrade didn't account for.

Historically, the period between EEC registration and product launch has never been more than 6 months. For example, the iPhone 11 models were registered in May. The iPad models were registered in July.

For me, the strongest evidence for Fall 2019 comes from 1) iPadOS, 2) Mark Gurman, and 3) Photoshop for iPad launching in 2019.

So far, the evidence for Spring 2020 is pretty weak, IMO.
