I'm a writer. My mobile me is up for renewal in two days. It kinda snuck up on me. It's $99 but I only used to launch the webpage I had while I was researching overseas. I'm not currently updating it but I would still like others to be able to see it, as its a good example of my work. If I don't renew it will people still be able to see it or will it disappear?

It will disappear, you will need a new server.

I would stay with Mobile Me, its less than what we pay for a couple of pizzas in a month.
They also have a lot of other things besides webhosting that are cool.
You can store some of your stuff in the iDisk, lots of goodies coming also.
Yes, I think they are worth it.

They also seem to give you a 15-day grace period just in case. I think Amazon will have to send you a box so that will take at least 2 days unless you pay out the butt for overnight shipping.

Do these other people you show the site to hire you and pay you money? If the income generated is >$99, then renewing is a no-brainer.
