I'm sure Apple thinks this is a help, but I know how to say, "hey Siri" and I have a key bind. It's going to open a chatbot application after spinning the slowest dots in the world, anyway. So why can't I get rid of this?
Does anyone else want to have an option to remove the 'Ask Siri' UI element of the subcontextual menu? I don't like it and can't seem to remove it. Anyone see a solution for this?
It's not just that unfortunately. That is can be mostly ignored, but this floating one is almost as bad as the floating copilot icon in MS Office products:
It literally covers up whatever you're actively typing. So annoying. If there is a way to turn it off without killing off Siri as a whole feature set, I haven't found it. And Siri has to be turned on for HomePod and other voice activated things to work properly. I don't use Siri a ton on the Mac and honestly I use ChatGPT more as a chatbot, but this is behavior I'd like to be able to undo.
