For the Lightroom users... does anyone else encounter LR not maximizing from a minimized state? I keep having to quit the whole app and restart it. (?)

Is there a way in Photoshop CS3 to rotate a photo in a less cumbersome manner than Image > Rotate Canvas ?

    - The outline remains depending on how you change it.
    - i have no idea....
    - You can create shortcuts in PS for both of them and any other tool you use frequently.

I don't know if it's less cumbersome, but you could use Select All -> Edit -> Free Transform or Select All -> Edit -> Transform -> Rotate

And the shortcut for that is :apple: - T. Just make sure the layer you're transforming is not locked.
