Out of curiosity, has anyone tried the 9.7" ASK with the 10.5" iPad Pro? How about the 12.9 ASK with the 10.5".

Can you use the 10.5 keyboard with the 12.9 iPad? I am not sure if that would be practical but the 12.9 ASK can be heavy combined with the 12.9. I am thinking if buying a 10.5 ASK and just having it as a keyboard that you put in when you just need it will be fine.

Not sure if the keyboard can take the weight of the 12.9 though.

The poster right above you says he used the smaller 9.7" ASK on the 12.9". You may ask him about how stable it was.

With a back cover on, my 10.5 does not work with a 12.9 ASK. With the cover off, it works fine. Perhaps a thinner cover would get better contact with the ASK.

Yes, all the ASK's work with any size iPad Pro, but practicality is another question. Have used a 12.9" ASK with a 9.7" iPad Pro, and a 9.7" with both a 10.5" and 12.9" - all worked perfectly but were rather comical.

Although, if you're using a 12.9" ASK as a sort of stationary "dock" that might actually be a decent thing, even with the smaller Pros

If you are going to do that, then why not just use an Apple Magic Keyboard along with a small stand. Much better typing experience, function keys along the top row, and you can adjust the iPad angle with the right stand.
