Why are my pictures sending from my email address since the update? Help! I am sending them via text and people telling me they arrive separately from my email. And pictures sent to me coming to my email.
A friend of mine is having iMessage issues. She says it's activated, but messages aren't sending/receiving.
If this is where I think you mean, these are the bookmarks in your bookmarks bar in safari on your mac, delete from there, and it will go away from your idevices on that itunes account. (This may take a few minutes)My stupid question;
How do I remove iCloud tabs in safari?
I've reset both my iPad and iPhone and yet there's an old iCloud tab there that shouldn't be there after a reset. Starting to bug me big time.
Two weeks, apparently. (now goes back to Sept 7, last time I looked went back to Sept 5th). There are no options to change this or delete them. Believe me, I have tried, and read other comments on this.
Yes, you need to enable it. I don't have iTunes Match, but, there are two places for this, not sure if both need to be turned on or not.
Settings>Music> (scroll down)

I had the same problem as you, I would swipe from right to left at a slight angle, it took some time, but I got used to making sure I scroll straight across. Perhaps we should make a suggestion to Apple to have the option to turn Spotlight search off. I never use it. http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

2. Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Short Name> turn off Prefer Nicknames.
When you install iOS 7, you may need to sign in to your iCloud account.
Settings>iCloud> tap on your account. It may ask you to agree to new iCloud terms.
You could also try turning iMessage off then on again (or check to be sure it is turned on) here:
Settings>Messages>iMessage on/off (This is also where you can block someone, click on "Blocked" and you can add someone from there.)
That's the thing, she said it's activated, but nothing is being received, nor can she send iMessages. I suggested she try logging out of iCloud and signing back in, or try to reset network settings. Guess we'll see what happens.
It almost seems to be carrier related rather than OS/server issues though.
I apologize if this has been addressed; I couldn't find it. So is there a way to get videos to play within playlists like they always did? Like I have some playlists that are mixtures of songs and videos and the videos always played inline with everything else, seamlessly. Now it shows a stupid QuickTime logo and plays audio only. Can this be changed? If not, I'm gonna be fire-pissed.
Have her also try turning iMessages on/off here: Settings>Messages>iMessage on/off (after turning back on, wait for it to display below the switch "iMessages can be sent...")
Also, I forget that most people don't do this... power cycle the iPhone, this can solve many an issue. (hold the top button for 3 seconds until "slide to power off" shows up, turn off, wait for spinning to go away, then wait 5 seconds, press top button for a full second to turn back on.)
One more thing: Does she have iOS 7? She may have accidentally turned on "do not disturb" mode. This can happen if you are scrolling and accidentally pull up control center and I have accidentally turned do not disturb on or something else when I try to close it back down.

I see no way to change this, however, I agree, you should have control over this feature...suggest to Apple to add an on/off toggle for burst mode:http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

As you can see the upper tab is from before I reset my iPhone while the lower one is current.

Deleting Apps from the 'Purchased List"
In the new IOS 7 how does one remove apps that are listed in the "purchased" list of the app store? There are several apps that I've had over the years that have since been deleted and are no longer on the phone but they are now appearing under the "purchased" section and I want them gone. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

hmmm...is this an iPad?
I don't have an iCloud icon on my safari app in my iPhone 5. However, wherever I do see this, it typically means the items there are not located on that device, but in iCloud, or on some other device. I'm really not sure how to manage these...maybe someone else can chime in?
Air drop identity
OK, I've checked everywhere, anyone know where you set your device's air drop identity?
Both my iPhone and my ipad are using my sons contact name and picture even though my contact is the one setup as 'me'.
The only thing I can think of is my sons email address is one of the ones setup against my Apple ID for using FaceTime and iMessage
Any help?

It will eventually clear out.It's still recognizing the device before it was restored as well as after you restored.
There's no iCloud button, but there is a list of your iCloud tabs. Go to the tab view and scroll down all the way past the tabs.
