Asked to delete video after each viewing?

Every time I watch a video that I synced from iTunes, my phone asks me if I want to delete it to save space. Is that normal? I don't have any experience with video iPods.

Yup, it is normal.

I find it very interesting that it does that. It makes it feel much more like you're using an operating system and not a simple media device. The iPod just references and plays the files on its system, while the iPhone has the ability to not only read the files but to manage and manipulate them.

i like this feature. it helps save space and prevents me from having to sync to delete a video!
