Asks for a login password , Lion

Good morning

Ive just had a new hard drive fitted and when i turn on my mac, it asks for a user login password.

how do i disable that?

Settings / Account / Login Options

how do i stop it, i don't want a login

Just go to System Preferences, then Users & Groups, then on the list click Login Options. Where it says Automatic Login, you can choose which user to automatically log into.
