Pretty straight forward question.. Which one do you guys think is better, iPad apps are pricey and I do not want to waste money. Also the fact that they do not have "lite" version for most iPad apps kinda stinks. So which shall it be?

That's a bad comparison, because it's a completely different genre. Asphalt 5 and Need for Speed are arcade racers, Real Racing is a racing simulator, going for realism instead of simple arcade fast-action.

Actually, I've tried NFS Shift on the PS3 and I felt that it was much closer to a racing sim than an arcade game. Will try the iPad version when my 3G gets here :)

Yeah, with the console versions Shift turned the game into a simulator, but the handheld ones it's still mostly arcade.

I'm not paying over $10 for a game regardless of the name. EA always does this on new platforms, charge $10 too much, they did it with the DS and psp, my money went to asphalt 5, I'm sure shift is good, but I'm not paying $15.

I only have asphalt 5 and it's a pretty solid game. Great graphics and a smooth driving game.
