Heh. Asphalt 9 is still a p2w game. As for asphalt 8… never played before but a bit curious on what concession has to be made for Apple Arcade to work. Certainly the content won’t be as the same as p2w ongoing update one right? Or they pull the game out of Apple Arcade because of small player base?

What I’m more worried is when we can only play game through Apple Arcade and nowhere else, besides streaming from somewhere else. That would be absolute bummer.

Now apple Arcade seem to have some great games at an affordable subscription but a Phone isnt the device to play such games. Apple TV is an Underpowered machine and an iPhone is seriouly powerful machine with serious ergonomics issues for gaming. I have been saying this for yrs, what is so hard for apple to make a handheld Nintendo switch like console? The current Apple chips already beat all Mobile processors in all benchmarks and leaving Switch in the dust. At the same time beating Top end Intel processors in some benchmarks. Why Apple shies away from a serious gaming affort is beyond my understanding. Can anyone explain? I mean even Steam has brought a new hardware for gaming now, but Apple just wants to force us to buy the phones which are terrible hardare for gaming.

Two titles I am interested in. I am truly shocked, but will not look a gift horse in the mouth.

“Baldo” even sounds like a knockoff “Zelda”
Like “The Legend of Baldo: Blockarina of Limes”
Well, I think there's no shame in taking inspiration from Zelda (and admitting it), it's kind of a game developers' cliché that broguht us great games. Take The Binding of Isaac, an infinite sequence of NES Zelda dungeon, or Minit, a minimalist take on some old Zelda dynamics.
Even the most knock-off-like are often very good because some aspect of Zelda got lost or watered-down with latest titles.
Looking at this one, I think it could be really interesting.

I know, I’m just clowning on the name.

Yes I have played Asphalt 8, and loved it, but the money required to move forward is stupid, so I never finished it. I can’t wait for the Apple Arcade release!!

I mean, jokes aside, "Baldo" looks gorgeous. Almost better than the recent Zelda games. (It's also coming to Steam and all major consoles, btw.)

meanwhile diablo ii remaster isn't getting a mac release
apple should do something !!!!

I’ve just installed it and it really does appear to be the full Asphalt 8 without the p2w junk that they ruined it with in the past.

It’s always been a brilliant game that got ruined with the grift (particularly when they added loot boxes) and with that removed it’s just a brilliant game!

Yes, the constant nagging and need for IAP is the worst part of an otherwise great game.

If you save your progress to Game Center - can you keep your cars; or do you start fro zero?

Asphalt works find on my iPhone but I'm getting a permission error on the Mac when I try to open the app.
