That's a good question. If they are like the 14" 16" MBPs then the assembly plant is likely in Shanghai, which is not (yet) affected by the recent COVID spike. But if it comes from ShangZhen then the city is literally in a 4 day lockdown where the entire population is undergoing mandatory test.

I can confirm that units received in Hong Kong are "still" made in China. It seems there are multiple supply chains for Mac Studio this time.

The ones for the U.S. market are Malaysia.

Rest of world is assembled in China.

This is similar to Mac Pro which is assembled by Flex for customers in the U.S. only. Rest of world is China.
